Kickback Pix LLC (“Kickback Pix”, “we”, “us”) operates the website kickbackpix.com and provides photo booth rentals and event photography and videography services in Michigan. This policy explains what information we collect when you use our website or book our services, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information you give us

Contact and quote forms. When you fill out a form on our site, we collect the details you enter, typically your name, email address, phone number, event date and a message. We use this to reply to you and prepare a quote. Form entries are stored on our website and emailed to us.

Bookings. When you book a service, we collect your name, email address, phone number, event date, location and the service you selected. If you pay online, your card details are entered directly with our payment processor and are not stored on our website. We keep booking records so we can deliver the service, send confirmations and reminders, and handle invoices.

Email and phone. If you email or call us, we keep the correspondence so we can respond and keep a record of your request.

Information collected automatically

Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site: which pages are viewed, how long people stay, what they click, the type of device and browser used, approximate location based on IP address, and how visitors arrived at the site (for example from a search engine, a social media post or an ad). Google Analytics uses cookies to recognize repeat visits. IP addresses are truncated by Google before being stored. We do not use this data to identify you personally. Meta Pixel. We use the Meta Pixel from Meta Platforms, Inc. (Facebook and Instagram). It records that a visitor reached our site and which pages were viewed, so we can measure whether our Facebook and Instagram ads are working and show our ads to people who have visited our site. The pixel uses cookies and may match visits to Facebook or Instagram accounts if you are logged in. Meta’s use of this data is described in the Meta Privacy Policy. You can control ad settings at facebook.com/adpreferences.

Server logs. Like most websites, our hosting provider records basic technical information for each visit, such as IP address, browser type, pages requested and the time of the request. These logs are used for security and troubleshooting.

Photos and video from events

Our services involve taking photos and video of people at events. Images captured at an event belong to the event and are delivered to the person who booked us. We may display selected images in our online gallery, on social media or in advertising to show our work. If you appear in an image we have published and would like it removed, email info@kickbackpix.com and we will take it down.

Who we share information with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the business, and only as needed for the purpose:

Google (Google Analytics, Search Console) for website analytics.
Meta Platforms (Facebook and Instagram) for advertising measurement.
Our web host (GoDaddy) which stores the website and its data.
Our payment processor, which handles online payments for bookings.
Our email provider, which delivers form notifications and booking emails.
Our marketing agency, which manages our Facebook and Instagram advertising and can see aggregated ad performance data, but not your form or booking details.

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, safety or property.

How long we keep information

Form entries and booking records are kept for as long as needed to provide the service and for up to seven years afterward for accounting and tax purposes. Analytics data is retained according to Google’s and Meta’s default retention settings. You can ask us to delete your information at any time, subject to records we are legally required to keep.

Your choices and rights

You can browse the site without filling in any form.
You can block analytics and advertising cookies in your browser or with the opt-out tools linked above.
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@kickbackpix.com and we will respond within 30 days.
You can opt out of marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link or by emailing us.

Children

Our website and services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through our website. Photos of children taken at events are captured with the permission of the person who booked the event.

Security

Our website uses HTTPS encryption, login protection and regular backups. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
